Death Experience – an annual campus event organized by Student Health Services that aims to prevent distracted, drugged and drunk driving – returned to San Diego Mesa College on Wednesday, March 22 in the LRC Quad.

San Diego Mesa College students planning to take Spanish 102 or 201 this summer are invited to spend a month in Spain to study abroad for a true immersion experience from June 26 to July 22.

San Diego, CA. — On Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Student Health Services at San Diego Mesa College’s will host “The Death Experience”, an event designed to educate students on the perils of driving while drunk, drugged or distracted.

Students from San Diego Mesa College’s Department of Dramatic Arts will be performing Karel Švenk’s “The Last Cyclist” for a second - and closing - weekend starting March 17.

San Diego, CA. — In March, Mesa track and Field athletes took top honors in the respective events in multiple competitions across the state. Mesa athletes competed against rigorous competition at four-year colleges such as Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State San Marcos and Soka University. They competed against athletes from some of the biggest schools, including USC, UC Irvine, Cal Poly, Pepperdine, Cal State Northridge, Long Beach State, and UC Santa Barbara. the article

Celebrity chefs will be able to experience Culinary Outlook firsthand, alongside students, during this exhilarating hands-on event.

San Diego Mesa College’s Culinary Arts/Management students, faculty and alumni will celebrate their new home in the Culinary Outlook at Mesa Commons with a an exciting fundraiser on Thursday, April 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

African American poet, professor and activist Dr. Sonia Sanchez spoke to a full room at San Diego Mesa College on Feb. 23 in honor of Black History Month.
