Geoffrey S. Nathan, adjunct History professor at San Diego Mesa College, was recently announced as a recipient of the National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Grant for 2017.

San Diego Mesa College student Carlos Jasso will be graduating this year with two associates degrees; an Associates of Science in Information Technology and an Associates of Arts in Communications.

Part of the Title V Grant has been used to build the LOFT for faculty and staff professional development on campus. Learning Opportunities for Transformation is housed on the fourth floor of the Learning Resource Center. To help faculty on campus to create syllabi and classes that have more equitable outcomes, the Course Redesign Institute and New Faculty Institute were created for faculty to participate in on campus.

San Diego Mesa College beach volleyball duo Kat Wright and Flavia Virgili came in third place out of 32 teams in the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships May 6-7.

Today, San Diego Mesa College announced that the Mesa Women’s Swimming and Diving team finished second at the State Championships this past weekend. This is the highest finish in program history.
